Last night's recap

Ah what a nice evening I had...

Started out with woodenleg and anaisred dropping by the compound so I could drive us in the van onto the ferry and into the heart of the city. Once lodged into the beating pulp of it's organ, we stopped at Six Arms to drink and dine, and were joined by the swingingwake and the onyxaurora. Much yapping ensued.

On to coffee. But then, no coffee. Then to Kristina's Dollhouse for the Catbus and Tulip Trees. Then, back to The Hill, and actual coffee this time. The evening was beautiful, and walking around the streets with a beer buzz, coffee buzz, and good pal buzz was wonderful fun.

We ended up at the Bad JuJu earlier than the Grave Danger girls, and I got sat behind a poll. More beer. LOUD FUCKING HEAVY METAL. Gotta love the irony that Seattle enjoys like a drug. I'm guilty of enjoying some chuggy guitars and all, but it gets old after awhile...

Grave Danger girls started showing up and I got to meet a lot of them for the first time in the flesh who I'd never met, or just know from LJ. Had an all too short a talk with 4hour_ramona, had a wonderful talk about my craft with lisa, talked zombie-clowns with sgtred, saw wraincloud and talked with bleu_batte, talked musican geek talk with mrrant, yapped it up with team capitan , reminisced about music with auditorium, and got to meet a bunch of them gals who don't have LJ identities like Rettig to Rumble, Sake Bomb, and Ultra VIolet. And of course lots of hanging out with Ms. Ann Munition, who started this whole damn thing for me!

I gotta say again, there is absoultely nothing like seeing my logo-girlie splashed across so many damn hot hotties, fans of the team, printed material, and so on. I am so grateful to have been able to contribute work to such a cool event and organization.

So later on, anaisred won the raffle tickets, so look for her and woodenleg at the bout next week! Then, we said our goodbyes and drove home, not getting back to my place until like 1:30. Today has been site updates and house cleaning. Fun shit, eh? My back hurts to damn much to do anything else! I'm old.
